Driving Change and Solutions for Hawai’i

Ho’oponopono!!!

“Fighting to make it right!!!”

‘Ohana first…keiki, kupuna, and community!!!

A comprehensive plan to reduce the cost of living in Hawai’i.

  • I am running for the people of Hawai’i
  • I am running for our country
  • I am running for our future
  • It’s about effectively serving the people of Hawai’i and our country
  • I am running on more than just issues, I am running on solutions
  • We need better solutions, not more business as usual
  • We need smarter legislation… we need to work smarter, not just harder
  • I am running on Change… Positive change… Comprehensive change in federal government
  • I am an agent of change
  • I am a catalytic problem solver…I will be a catalytic legislator

One man with courage is a majority.” -Thomas Jefferson

  • We have to do the right thing
  • The ends do not justify the means
  • You can’t do the wrong thing for the right reasons
  • The “how” matters
  • How we conduct ourselves matters
  • We need to bring respect and political decorum back to government

“It is our choices that show who we truly are, far more than our abilities” – Albus Dumbledore

  • Quality of government over quantity of government
  • Serving in congress is a duty and a privilege… it is not a career
  • There should be no such thing as a career politician in federal government
  • Congress is filled with an abundance of skill sets for debating principles and policy
  • Congress is under served in the skill sets needed to effectively create, make, build, architect, and innovate
  • We need to streamline or eliminate the excessive government bureaucracy
  • Federal government needs to remand services to the private sector wherever possible
  • Competition drives excellence
  • Peace through Strength
  • Diplomacy is a complex carrot and stick process…for the carrot to work there needs to be an effective stick

“Peace is not absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.” -Ronald Reagan

  • Achieving positive and comprehensive change isn’t going to be easy, but defeatism isn’t an option
  • We can’t fear failure… we need to embrace the impossible
  • It’s going to take planning, preparation, and persistence… a lot of persistence
  • Opportunity almost always requires persistence
  • This is our opportunity to make a positive difference in our government to improve the quality of life for all

“Some men see things as they are, and ask why. I dream of things that never were, and ask why not.” -Robert F. Kennedy
